INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATION
The cornerstone of my practice is the delivery of unbiased and independent legal services, honest and realistic advice, free from the influence or agendas of others-- whose interests in a particular transaction may be at odds with those of my clients.
The vast majority of my clients come to me as you have, directly, or through a referral from a satisfied client, and not from the referral by a real estate agent, mortgage broker, bank, mortgage lender or builder involved in a prospective transaction. When you come to me directly as a client there are no other relationships to balance. I am 100% committed to your needs, goals and success. This insures that my interests in a business or real estate transaction are aligned perfectly with yours.
As I see my role, what’s most important is not simply whether a transaction closes. What’s most important to me is that your interests are protected and your transactional goals are met to your satisfaction and expectations.
I work hard to keep my legal services free from the influence and agendas of others. In the interest of full disclosure:
• I am not of counsel to, in a “Controlled Business Arrangement” with, own stock in, or affiliated in any way with any local, regional, national or international real estate brokerage companies, mortgage brokers, mortgage lenders, or home builders that refer business to my office.
• I do not lend money to, borrow money from, or enter into any joint ventures or partnerships with any home builder, mortgage lender, mortgage broker, or real estate brokerage company that refers business to my office.
• I do not court the favor of known “movers and shakers” for client referrals, nor do I encourage referrals from real estate “insiders” and other players in a prospective transaction with a vested interest and agenda to “make the sale” and “see the deal close.” I measure my success by the results I obtain for clients, and consider referrals by my clients the best indicator of success.
